Associate AI Engineer (Artificial Intelligence): Developing AI and data solutions for client projects through a structured technical training program with an accent on Python, machine learning fundamentals, generative AI tooling, vector stores, and cloud platforms. Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid workplace. U.S. work authorization required.
Salary: $88,000 per year OTE, including base salary and applicable target bonus.

What you will do
- Complete a three-month technical training program within the Digital Solutions Group focused on data solutions.
- Contribute to client projects after training based on skills, interests, and business needs.
- Collaborate across teams, build positive working relationships, and support successful project delivery.
- Analyze issues, solve complex problems, and recommend innovative technology solutions.
- Manage competing priorities and deliver work to deadlines.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of AI and machine learning fundamentals, including transformers, embeddings, diffusion models, data pipelines, and inference workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and exposure to FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini, and vector stores including Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of MLOps, Git, DVC, CI/CD, observability, and deployment practices.
- U.S. work authorization required. A technical degree completed by January 11, 2026, relevant internship or research experience, or completion of a technical bootcamp is required.
Nice to have
- Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in IT, software, data engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft MS-900, or GCP Cloud Engineer.
