React Native Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code in React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android apps.
• Build reusable mobile components and features that interact with GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless, consistent experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for mobile features.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks across platforms.

Requirements

• Proficient in React Native and TypeScript, with experience shipping mobile apps to production.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, platform conventions, and device-specific nuances.
• Experience with Expo, or willingness to dive deep into native code when required (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C).
• Familiarity with GraphQL, state management tools (e.g. Zustand, Redux, Recoil), and testing libraries like Jest or Detox.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile, and tools like EAS, Fastlane, or Bitrise is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and willing to relocate to Calgary

Nice to have

• Previous experience with AI-powered dev tools — curiosity and experimentation are strongly encouraged.
