Lead KYC Analyst (Fintech): Conducting complex reviews and projects in hirify.global’s KYC team, focusing on end-to-end KYC lifecycle processes including onboarding, periodic reviews, event-driven reviews, and offboarding. Focus on in-depth customer investigations and continuous monitoring of various threat vectors across the KYC landscape.

Location: Work effectively in a fully remote environment with teams spanning multiple time-zones (our team is across the US, Europe & APAC).

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Conduct detailed assessments of complex customers for risk of money laundering, financial crimes and terrorist financing.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of customers, including counterparty compliance calls and assessing transactional activity.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor client relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Recommend risk-based business actions for customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
• Prepare written reports of findings, including comprehensive details, narratives, and recommendations.
• Drive standardization and optimization of KYC workflows across regions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in AML and KYC reviews for corporates, with 2 years in crypto, preferable in onboardings requiring specialized due diligence.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology.
• Strong communication skills and presence, ability to interface with internal and external teams
• Experience collaborating cross functionally and driving results while working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus
• Work effectively in a fully remote environment with teams spanning multiple time-zones (our team is across the US, Europe & APAC).

Nice to have

• CAMS, CFCS or CFE certification is a plus.
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
