Senior Software Engineer (Azure)

Senior Software Engineer (Azure): Develops and maintains Azure Terraform providers ensuring seamless interface between Terraform and Azure APIs with an accent on extending, maintaining, and enhancing Azure providers. Focus on supporting internal, community, and partner contributors, advocating for improvements to Terraform Core and plugin SDK, and collaborating closely with Microsoft to support a strategic partnership.

Location: Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship. What you will do

• Extend, maintain, and enhance the Azure providers, working with nearly every part of Azure.
• Support internal, community, and partner contributors through guidance, code reviews, documentation improvements, and mentorship.
• Advocate and support improvements to Terraform Core and the Terraform plugin SDK.
• Work closely with Microsoft to support a strategic partnership.

Requirements

• Experience operating and maintaining production systems in Azure, or extensive experience with the Microsoft Ecosystem.
• Strong Software Engineering or DevOps background.
• Experience with Terraform and Go.
• Experience in education, customer support, or OSS community support applicable to the Terraform community.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts and tools.
• Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
