Senior Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Implement back-end components to meet business needs using modern software development environments.
• Participate in application code design, solution development, and comprehensive code reviews.
• Design and implement various test types, including unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Develop and review feature design documents and provide critical input for technical specifications.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, and QA within an international distributed Agile team.
• Write highly testable, automatable, and performant code across the entire SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (5+ years) and practical experience with Golang.
• Experience with Kotlin, Reactive programming, and Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise in Microservices, Event-driven architecture, and REST API design.
• Experience building high-traffic/high-load distributed systems and optimizing production performance.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) required

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Aurora, Step Functions).
• Proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and security patterns (OWASP).
