Lead Go Developer (Fintech)

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Go Developer to lead backend engineering and contribute directly to the development of scalable, high-load systems.

You will combine strong Go development skills with technical leadership, driving engineering decisions, improving system architecture, and collaborating with Product and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go.
• Design and evolve microservices and distributed systems.
• Lead technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering practices.
• Plan technical solutions and ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders.
• Work on complex integrations and AI-related implementations.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Go development experience.
• 2+ years in a Lead / Tech Lead role or equivalent technical leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on backend development background.
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Go concurrency: goroutines, channels.
• REST API and/or gRPC.
• PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
• Docker, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
• Experience building scalable, high-load systems.
• Background in FinTech, Banking, Insurance, Payments, or complex enterprise integrations.
• Practical experience with AI/ML/LLM integration or AI-powered products.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• English: C1 or higher.

This Role Is a Good Fit If:

You are still actively coding, have at least 2 years of technical leadership experience, can make architectural decisions, and are comfortable taking ownership of backend engineering beyond individual tasks.

Please note: This is a hands-on technical leadership position, not a purely managerial role.
