Software Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Design, implement, verify, maintain, and refactor embedded software for DECT/WiFi handsets, infrastructure products, and personal alarm devices.
• Develop low-level drivers, hardware-near functionality, real-time communication features, and network communication stacks.
• Work with real-time operating systems, multitasking, and inter-process communication.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design decisions, requirements, and documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware, quality, and cross-functional stakeholders in an agile R&D environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer-related software issues while improving product quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Approximately two to five years of experience designing and developing software.
• Experience with object-oriented C++ development for embedded systems.
• Experience with real-time operating systems, multitasking, and inter-process communication.
• Experience with low-level C/C++ development for drivers and data communication.
• Experience with communication and data security protocols.
• Excellent spoken and written English and fluent Swedish.
• Ability to analyze technical challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
