Embedded Software Function Developer (Engine Control Systems)

hirify.global AB is developing embedded software and control strategies for future combustion engine systems.

What you will do

• Design and develop control strategies for combustion engine systems.
• Implement and verify embedded control functionality using MATLAB, Simulink, and TargetLink.
• Translate system requirements into robust control models and production-ready ECU software.
• Collaborate with hardware, calibration, and optimization specialists to achieve system performance objectives.
• Investigate complex system issues and deliver improvements and quality fixes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to a small, agile team working with colleagues across international sites.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience designing and implementing control strategies in embedded control systems.
• Strong understanding of control theory, model-based design, and embedded software development.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems, take initiative, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate clearly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TargetLink.
