Publishing Producer (Sports Games)

Location: Hybrid role in Novato, California, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $112,700–$166,820 per year, plus potential bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Support development teams and build publishing-dependent production pipelines for in-game content.
• Track content progress, resolve blockers, review milestones and builds, and provide feedback on development documentation.
• Drive backend and core technology integrations, coordinating requirements and feature delivery around release schedules.
• Design internal game evaluation processes and coordinate playtests, build launches, QA feedback, and responses to live issues.
• Lead AAA game submission from pre-certification through post-launch, coordinating development, QA, and Release Management to ship on time and at quality.
• Translate product knowledge into business requirements, manage assigned budget areas such as external development or porting costs, and prepare executive-facing materials.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of internal or external game development experience, ideally with AAA and/or live-service games.
• Experience working across Publishing and Development Production, either within a publishing production team or an internal development team supported by an external publisher.
• Strong project management and production experience taking full games or major features from inception to ship and supporting them post-launch.
• Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle and the ability to assess in-development projects at major milestones.
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience managing budgets for small games or defined areas of large games, with attention to budget risks.
• Passion for the gaming market and sports.
• Must be experienced with Google Suite, especially Sheets, Slides, and Docs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira or Asana.
• Experience establishing new intellectual property from a blank page and turning creative concepts into shippable products.
