Senior Producer (Post-Production)

Location: Kansas City, United States; hybrid work with teams in the office around four days a week. Chicago is also listed as an available location.

What you will do

• Break down project requirements, bid, produce, and reconcile post-production projects.
• Manage complex post-production budgets and communicate budget status to studio leadership and client partners.
• Coordinate creative partners and delivery of assets across offline, color grading, final mixing, online, and visual effects.
• Act as a key contact for clients and post-production staff while ensuring project needs and delivery requirements are met.
• Provide feedback, support mentoring and talent development, and maintain and expand the freelance talent roster.
• Attend and document project briefings and kickoffs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in post-production; agency experience is a plus but not required.
• Mastery of VFX, motion graphics, and editorial workflows.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of basic post-production accounting procedures, including AICE forms and actualizing procedures.
• Proven ability to build trust and respect through sound critical thinking and composure in stressful situations.
• Natural leadership, strong communication, relationship management, and comfort managing a primarily full-time talent roster.
• Collaborative, optimistic, solution-oriented, and ego-less approach to teamwork.
