Engineer IV (Electrical)

Location: Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel as needed.

Salary: $125,000 annually.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple task orders or a single program and manage multiple staff members.
• Provide technical oversight, risk mitigation, and statutory compliance support for Army acquisition programs.
• Manage resources, task orders, budgets, schedules, and periods of performance.
• Interface with government customers, service vendors, and agency representatives.
• Assign, schedule, and review work; contribute materials and edit, organize, and format project content.
• Develop and analyze test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the designated technical specialization plus 9 years of combined engineering and technical experience, including 6 years of project experience; or a master’s degree plus 7 years, including 4 years of project experience; or a PhD in engineering or a related discipline plus 5 years of applicable experience, including 2 years of project experience.
• Experience performing engineering, analysis, research, development, test, and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.
• Electrical specialization experience must include research, design, development, testing, or supervision of manufacturing and installation of electrical components or systems, as well as engineering and analysis for military equipment and systems.
• Relevant specialization may include electromagnetics, electro-optics, optical sciences, electronic circuits, modeling and simulation, infrared scene projection, structural analysis, radar systems, high-voltage systems, mechanical systems, data acquisition, stockpile testing, HWIL, HPC, or IR scene generation.
• Secret clearance required.

Nice to have

• Test engineering experience in developmental testing, qualification, and performance characterization for tactical missile systems, guided munitions, air and missile defense systems, EO/IR sensors, radar payloads, or seeker technologies.
• Experience formulating test plans, test operation procedures, and safety hazard analyses for live-fire, static-fire, captive-flight, and missile or sensor testing.
