Systems Engineer Technical Specialist

Salary: $135,035.83–$234,801.11 projected compensation range

What you will do

• Investigate, triage, and evaluate emerging and bespoke technologies for new capabilities and future device development.
• Design, develop, integrate, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their life cycle.
• Develop project timelines, cost estimates, tracking mechanisms, standards, practices, and procedures.
• Design interfaces, coordinate hardware and software system elements, and participate in conceptual design reviews.
• Generate, document, verify, validate, and track customer requirements, operational needs, and technology roadmaps.
• Support customer liaison activities, business development, industry and academic engagement, briefings, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline, with at least 12 years of experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 10 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 7 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer providing the described services.
• Demonstrated experience with RF communication systems, technologies, and concepts.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presenting complex technical and non-technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to take initiative, manage key parts of complex technical developments, handle multiple fast-paced projects, and quickly learn organizational priorities.
• Comfort working in a dynamic team environment.
