AI Ops Engineer

What you will do

• Administer enterprise AI platforms including Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI API and Codex, Grok, Cursor, and Gemini.
• Manage seat lifecycles, Okta SSO and SCIM integrations, access groups, workspace settings, model access, connectors, plugins, and AI coding tools.
• Provide tier-2 AI support, diagnose access, SSO, connector, MCP, API key, and usage-limit issues, and maintain setup guides and FAQs.
• Build governance and spend controls, produce monthly billing reports, manage AI-tool intake, and maintain inventories of bots, GPTs, agents, and data access.
• Automate administration with vendor APIs, infrastructure as code, CI pipelines, and reviewed AI agents.
• Own Waybuilder end to end, maintain its usage and cost data feeds, and operate its AWS infrastructure with Terraform while addressing IAM, database, credential, reliability, runbook, and SLO needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, IT systems administration, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on enterprise-scale SaaS administration, including SSO and SCIM with Okta or a similar identity provider.
• Scripting in Python, TypeScript, or Bash and experience using REST administration APIs.
• Working knowledge of GitHub organization administration, GitHub Actions, and OIDC.
• Hands-on AWS experience with ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, and Secrets Manager, plus Terraform experience.
• Daily use of LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor and understanding of prompts, context, tokens, models, and agents.
• Clear written communication, patience supporting non-technical users, and sound judgment regarding data security, credentials, and cost.

Nice to have

• Administration of Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, the OpenAI platform, Cursor Business, or Gemini for Workspace.
• Experience building or securing MCP servers and connectors.
• AWS Bedrock and AgentCore experience or AWS certifications.
• TypeScript web development with Next.js and React, and data work with ClickHouse or PostgreSQL.
• FinOps or SaaS license management experience.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 guidance for LLM and agentic applications.
