Android Engineer Intern

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration three days per week in Los Angeles, California.

Salary: USD 47 per hour

Program duration: June 1–August 31, 2027.

What you will do

• Assist with developing and testing features for the Tinder Android app.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve the user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while learning mobile engineering practices.
• Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
• Contribute to Tinder’s UI platform and design system infrastructure.

Requirements

• Interest in Android development and learning how large mobile applications are built.
• Basic programming experience in Kotlin.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms through coursework or personal projects.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
