Senior Product Owner (iGaming)

What you will do

• Design and develop slot games from concept through release, owning mechanics, features, bonus rounds, mathematics requirements, and the overall player experience.
• Create Game Design Documents and functional specifications covering gameplay flows, mechanics, features, and implementation requirements.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, write requirements and acceptance criteria, and coordinate delivery with Frontend, Backend, Math, Art, Animation, and QA teams.
• Collaborate with Art and development teams on visual concepts, symbols, animations, presentation, and implementation quality.
• Conduct market and competitor research, analyze player behavior and game performance, and use testing, balancing, and engagement data to improve titles.
• Improve game design processes and documentation standards while mentoring Product Owners and Game Designers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional iGaming experience focused on slot game design or product ownership, including proven delivery of online slot games.
• Deep knowledge of slot mechanics such as Wilds, Scatters, Free Spins, Multipliers, Cascades, and Hold & Win.
• Strong understanding of slot mathematics, including RTP, volatility, hit frequency, paytables, probability-based mechanics, and bonus mechanics.
• Ability to create detailed Game Design Documents and functional specifications.
• Knowledge of the online casino market, player preferences, and current slot game trends.
• Experience managing product backlogs, defining priorities, writing requirements and acceptance criteria, and making data-driven product decisions.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Frontend, Backend, Math, Art, Animation, and QA.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple game projects simultaneously.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex bonus mechanics, innovative features, and high-volatility slots, as well as understanding mathematical models, probability theory, and game simulation.
• Experience analyzing GGR, player retention, engagement, and feature usage.
• Knowledge of slot certification requirements, regulatory standards, and regional adaptation for multiple markets.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar product and design tools.
• Understanding of HTML5 game development, online slot architecture, PixiJS-based engines or similar rendering technologies, and casino-game UX/UI principles.
• Creative, proactive, and self-directed approach to taking games from concept through launch and post-release optimization.
