What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans for user-facing frontends, internal systems, and integrations.
• Test workflows across the UI, backend, APIs, infrastructure, and database, identifying integration issues and bottlenecks.
• Analyze requirements and technical specifications to uncover edge cases and business-logic scenarios.
• Write and maintain functional test cases as the source of truth for testing, onboarding, and new requirements.
• Build, extend, and maintain automated UI and API tests; investigate and fix failing tests.
• Track coverage and quality metrics, drive defects to resolution, and contribute to release-readiness decisions with Product Management and Engineering.

Requirements

• Experience testing full-stack applications across frontend UI and backend APIs.
• Experience writing and maintaining structured functional test cases, ideally in TestRail.
• Hands-on frontend test automation experience, ideally with Cypress and Playwright, plus cross-browser testing; Selenium is a plus.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and OpenAPI/Swagger, with hands-on API testing in Postman.
• Good scripting skills in at least one test-automation language, ideally JavaScript and Node.js.
• Basic SQL skills for database verification.
• Familiarity with running and maintaining tests in CI/CD pipelines, including analyzing and fixing failing tests.
• Exposure to application and log monitoring tools such as DataDog, Sentry, New Relic, or Kibana.
• Openness to using AI tools for test-case generation and test automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Web development experience or a background in PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with visual regression testing or accessibility testing tools such as WCAG tools.
• Hands-on experience using AI in QA workflows, including test-case generation or test automation.
