Senior Quality Engineer (Data Intelligence & AI)

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the quality strategy for the Data Intelligence team, including AI and GenAI systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual tests, automated tests, and AI evaluations.
• Define test scenarios and measurable AI quality criteria with development and product teams.
• Identify quality risks, analyze defects and root causes, and help prevent recurring issues.
• Share QA expertise and improve quality practices across the delivery unit.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, comparable technical background, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in software QA, test engineering, or a related role.
• Programming experience in Python and C# or another object-oriented language.
• Hands-on experience testing AI and GenAI systems, including understanding of non-deterministic AI behavior.
• Practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright and API testing.
• Interest in financial topics and ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve development or QA workflows.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with engineers and product or domain experts.
• Strong English skills required; German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex datasets, MongoDB, or data-intensive systems.
• Experience with non-functional testing.
• Experience in financial services or asset management.
• ISTQB certification or a similar QA-related certification.
