Lead Engineer – Electrical and Control Systems

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate electrical and control system scopes for modernization and upgrade projects throughout planning, engineering, commissioning, and customer handover.
• Define technical execution plans, deliverables, interfaces, assumptions, and project risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and act as the technical interface for customers, project managers, suppliers, commissioning teams, and internal specialists.
• Manage technical risks, changed conditions, and complex engineering challenges while supporting solutions that improve plant performance, reliability, availability, and sustainability.
• Support control system upgrades, migrations, obsolescence management, digital solutions, performance improvements, and quotation activities.
• Enable and support project team members and contribute to successful project delivery.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Several years of experience in control system engineering, electrical engineering, commissioning, technical project leadership, or modernization projects.
• Ability to structure and drive technical work while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including confidence representing the technical scope in customer and project meetings.
• Solution-oriented, responsible, flexible, and organized approach, with a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Collaborative leadership style and interest in supporting colleagues across functions and cultures.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global SPPA-T3000, PCS 7, PCS neo, DCS, PLC, or equivalent industrial automation platforms.
• Experience in power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, process industries, or other complex industrial environments.
• Experience with modernization, upgrade, migration, retrofit, or obsolescence management projects.
