Sr. Analyst Product Management (Chemicals)

Location: Shanghai, China; fully onsite

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional product and production optimization projects and drive resources and stakeholders to completion.
• Build and institutionalize pricing models, cost-tracking frameworks, formula-tracking mechanisms, and product performance dashboards.
• Monitor portfolio performance across growth, profitability, raw materials, inventory, manufacturing, marketing, and sales, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop pricing recommendations, track pricing targets, identify deviations, and collaborate with commercial teams on corrective measures.
• Identify cost abnormalities and lead optimization actions with FP&A, plant, procurement, finance, marketing, and supply planning teams.
• Resolve supply and inventory issues, optimize supply-demand matching, and make product-priority trade-offs to maximize profits.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or significant relevant experience in business, supply chain, marketing, or finance, with a bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of related marketing management, financial analysis, or supply chain analysis experience, including 2 years in product management.
• Proven experience leading product or production optimization projects and/or building analytical assets such as pricing models or cost-tracking tools.
• Ability to take ownership, drive results, lead cross-functional projects, coordinate multiple functions, and make decisions without direct authority.
• Knowledge of go-to-market strategies, inbound product management, business profitability, and global and regional business trends.
• Knowledge of the chemical industry, hirify.global’s products, market segments, and competitors.
• Fluent English required; English is used as a working language.
