EE Lab Manager (EV)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; onsite electrical lab role.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the EE Lab and review incoming work requests.
• Develop lab infrastructure, equipment, testing capabilities, and inventory management for current and future power electronics and HiL testing needs.
• Manage wiring harness technicians, assign work, and coordinate technician activities.
• Track equipment maintenance schedules and calibration.
• Enforce high safety standards and track lab expenditures against departmental budgets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Lab Manager; experience managing a power electronics or electrical lab in the automotive or aerospace industry is preferred.
• Experience managing technicians.
• Experience with Jira and Coupa.
• Understanding of 2D drawing layout.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to learn on the job and take ownership.
