Solution Designer Retrofit (M/F/D)

Location: Marchtrenk, Austria; hybrid work with a generous home office model and flexible working hours.

Minimum gross basic salary: €47,547 per year for full-time employment; higher salary possible depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze and evaluate current customer processes, requirements, and relevant operational data.
• Develop intralogistics systems, material flow plans, system designs, and expansion or modernization concepts.
• Design optimal mechatronic solutions in collaboration with the sales engineer.
• Assess technical and scheduling feasibility, including budgetary evaluation, proposal preparation, and customer presentations.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers’ technical and operational contacts and serve as the central project contact.

Requirements

• Completed technical training in automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in intralogistics.
• Experience in process design and functional specifications.
• Understanding of complex processes and interfaces.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused, and solution-oriented working style with strong self-organization and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel.
