AP Accountant (SAP FI/MM)

What you will do

• Process and verify incoming invoices and post accurate transactions in SAP.
• Validate invoice data, manage travel expense claims, prepare credit notes and settlements, and handle supplier inquiries.
• Monitor and clear vendor account items, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders.
• Support compliance with German VAT and other legal requirements.
• Contribute to standardization, optimization, and automation of financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of fundamental financial and accounting principles.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting- or finance-related work, industry, or a shared-service environment.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Good Excel, analytical, and numerical skills.
• Deep accounting process knowledge and the ability to independently handle complex transactions.
• Experience with SAP FI and SAP MM, along with strong IT affinity.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and an independent, structured working style.
