German Copywriter & Content Editor (Fintech)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid working model combining onsite collaboration and remote work. An additional 25 days per year may be worked from a city or country of choice.

What you will do

• Write German-first copy for CRM channels, product launches, websites, landing pages, and longer-form content when requested.
• Produce English reference versions for other markets and maintain final editorial ownership of wording, structure, and clarity in both languages.
• Explain crypto, stocks, ETFs, and other investment products accurately, accessibly, and compliantly in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
• Build and maintain the German style guide, glossary, and terminology standards.
• Shape AI writing and localisation tools, manage incoming briefs, and deliver approved content into the localisation workflow.

Requirements

• Native-level German that is idiomatic, precise, and culturally current.
• Business-fluent English strong enough to write the English version independently.
• Four or more years of experience as a content editor, copywriter, or managing editor at a technology, fintech, media, or consumer brand, ideally covering CRM and web.
• A portfolio of CRM journeys, landing pages, articles, or guides demonstrating structure, clarity, and a consistent voice.
• Strong editorial accuracy and consistency, with experience building or maintaining style guides and glossaries.
• Hands-on experience with AI writing tools and interest in shaping their use.

• Familiarity with investing, crypto, or modern finance.
• Experience writing in a regulated industry.
