Undergraduate Intern (Oncology Research)

Location: Remote, United States; South San Francisco, California. Students must be located in the United States for the entire internship.

Base pay: $28.87 per hour.

What you will do

• Design and execute oncology discovery experiments to characterize target biology and evaluate therapeutic candidate activity.
• Develop and optimize in vitro assays for sensitivity, reproducibility, and performance.
• Analyze and interpret results while maintaining detailed electronic laboratory records.
• Summarize and present findings in lab meetings and at an internal symposium.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Must have completed at least one year of study before the internship begins and remain enrolled at an accredited college or university after the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work full-time for the internship duration.

Nice to have

• Degree concentration in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with wet-lab workflows, including mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
