Production Assistant Intern - Summer 2027 (Sports)

Location: Full-time on-site work in the San Francisco, California office; must be willing to work in San Francisco

Compensation: $19.61 per hour

hirify.global is a media and entertainment company producing and distributing film, television, streaming, news, sports, and digital content. NBC Sports Bay Area & California delivers regional sports coverage across television, digital, social, live games, and original programming.

What you will do

• Screen and log games, press conferences, interviews, and taped programs for editing.
• Research graphic boards, create on-air graphics, and assist ticker operators.
• Support Associate Producers in edit rooms and assist with audio/video production.
• Help produce pregame and postgame programming and daily on-air and digital content.
• Prepare, copy, and distribute programming information and scripts.
• Procure footage from external sources and support network day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Must remain actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution throughout the internship; Spring 2027 graduates are not eligible.
• Must have sophomore standing or above with at least 30 credits; junior standing or above is preferred.
• Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States, have unrestricted US work authorization, and not require current or future work visa sponsorship from hirify.global.
• Must be available to work 16–24 hours per week from June 7 through August 13, 2027.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Windows Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Intermediate media production experience through college programs, plus strong verbal, written, interpersonal, creative, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, follow through, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Strong interest in web, mobile, social media, sports, and television.
• Knowledge of Bay Area sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and hockey.
