Software Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid, with work from the Berlin or Ljubljana office 3 days per week.

Salary: €60,900–€76,100 gross annual salary in Germany, with possible discretionary bonuses and equity.

What you will do

• Iterate on an ecosystem of applications that addresses customer needs and makes complex account information comprehensible and interactive.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct design and code reviews and iterate features based on team feedback.
• Develop tools and libraries and write technical documentation for engineering teams integrating with customer telemetry.
• Ensure code accuracy and reliability through automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, including steering the architecture of React applications.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams that prioritize customer requirements.
• Adaptability and openness to mentorship.
• Experience with CI/CD and source control tooling such as GitHub or GitLab.

Nice to have

• Collaborative experience with product managers and designers.
• Experience with a production React ecosystem, including Redux Thunk and Emotion CSS.
• Experience with OpenAPI and REST code generation.
• Experience with iterative agile development.
• Experience using spatial data and web mapping.
