Senior Frontend Developer (TypeScript/Svelte)

Location: Remote-first within Germany; hybrid or completely on-site options are available near company locations.

hirify.global is developing a new product line and cloud platform with an international, diverse team.

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer-facing GUIs and other cloud-native open-source tools such as Terraform and CLIs.
• Develop the new product line from the ground up in a greenfield environment.
• Work on top of evolving REST APIs and collaborate closely with UX designers.
• Shape product design and integrate design frameworks and component libraries.
• Participate in on-call and proactively improve system redundancy and uptime.
• Develop in the open with an active presence in the open-source community.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with TypeScript 5.9 and effective use of the type system to prevent bugs.
• Experience with Svelte 5, including client-side routing with svelte5-router, or strong experience with TypeScript and a comparable modern reactive framework.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, including APIs that are still evolving.
• Experience with Docker, Webpack 5, and PostCSS for containerized builds and frontend tooling.
• Experience with Svelte Material UI or a comparable component library.
• Experience with end-to-end testing using Playwright and/or Cypress.
• Experience implementing Keycloak.js or comparable SSO/OAuth solutions.
• Fluent English is required.
