ESG Analyst

Location: Hybrid work environment, based out of the Bucharest office, Romania

What you will do

• Collect and organize ESG and financial data from public reports, databases, and financial statements.
• Research ESG performance indicators, financial metrics, industry developments, and market information.
• Review collected data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with team standards.
• Support quality assurance by identifying discrepancies, escalating issues, and maintaining data integrity.
• Prepare data summaries and reports, and collaborate with analysts and internal teams on data-driven decision-making.
• Use Excel to manage and analyze large data sets while supporting the development of standardized ESG data for the leveraged loan market.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate of ASE or SNSPA, Political Science, or Biology Faculty.
• Strong interest in ESG, sustainable finance, and leveraged finance (LevFin).
• Understanding of key industry, policy, and market developments shaping ESG investing, plus knowledge or interest in broader financial markets.
• Excellent data collection and research skills, with a methodical and accurate approach to organizing information.
• Foundational understanding of AI and willingness to develop knowledge of AI tools to implement efficiencies in team workflows.
• High attention to detail and thoroughness in ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities for interpreting complex data.
• Effective communication, teamwork, organization, prioritization, time management, and deadline-management skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in ESG and LevFin in a fast-paced environment.
