Procurement Manager (IT)

Location: Hybrid role based in Manchester or London, with an 8-days-per-month office attendance policy for most roles

What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities across assigned procurement projects and categories using strategic sourcing and negotiation techniques.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies with Directors and senior stakeholders for projects valued up to £100m+.
• Advise on sourcing models including catalogue solutions, auctions, and complex multi-year transformational procurements.
• Support the creation and implementation of supplier contracts and ensure commercial and contractual requirements are met.
• Contribute to procurement activity supporting future energy consumption and the Smart Meter programme.

Requirements

• Significant sourcing and procurement experience with a demonstrable record of delivering value and savings.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Experience conducting market analysis, spend analysis, and supplier evaluations.
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a regulated environment.
