Product Manager - Transaction Processing (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product development for the Authorizations capability within the Transaction Processing Stream.
• Define the product mission, roadmap, quarterly OKRs, and priorities across strategic initiatives, quick wins, and operational stability.
• Engage clients, monitor market trends and card-network mandates, and use transaction telemetry to create actionable requirements and user stories.
• Partner with Engineering, Commercial, Account Management, Data & AI, and Operations to prioritize sprints, manage technical debt, and deliver roadmap outcomes.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on transaction processing flows, card scheme rules, and authorization messaging, including ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.
• Lead system design sessions, technical demos and discussions, operational workflow improvements, and API documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Operations, STEM, or a related analytical field.
• 2–5 years of Product Management or Operations experience in a high-growth environment, top-tier banking, or consulting.
• Ability to solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex frameworks into structured product requirements.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills across internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Ability to understand complex system interactions and translate business logic into API design.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced payments environment.
