Insurance Associate

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with office attendance at least 40% of the time

hirify.global is expanding from accommodation into a connected travel ecosystem integrating flights, attractions, car rentals, taxis, insurance, and protection products.

What you will do

• Support the development, management, and launch of insurance and protection products.
• Manage complex initiatives and coordinate with technology, product, design, copywriting, data, operations, legal, compliance, and finance teams.
• Review commercial and product performance, propose enhancements, and track dependencies.
• Work with third-party insurance carriers and external advisors on product offerings, licensing, regulatory strategy, and compliance.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis and contribute to product design and market strategy.
• Prepare business review materials, board updates, project status reports, and results for management.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience in a regulated industry and understanding of risk management and compliance.
• Commercial problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, ownership, and accountability skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Project management fundamentals and experience executing global launches or rollouts across multicultural geographies.
• Ability to work across local jurisdictions and quickly understand market practices.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, especially non-insurance experts, in complex matrix organizations.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience constructing and presenting business cases, supporting models, and financial projections.
• Ability to distill complex business issues and strategies into concise, persuasive insights and actionable recommendations.
