Product Owner Platform Transaction Monitoring (Azure)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office

Gross monthly salary: €5,030–€7,183 for a 36-hour work week.

hirify.global is a bank operating a Financial Economic Crime area focused on transaction monitoring and analytics.

What you will do

• Own and prioritise the Azure platform vision and roadmap across infrastructure, observability, security, architecture guardrails and platform integrations.
• Translate model development squad and stakeholder needs into scalable platform capabilities, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Enable more than 10 squads to deploy, control and observe production analytics workloads independently.
• Manage shared security capabilities, operational responsibilities, deployment and CI/CD templates, and platform integrations.
• Standardise reusable capabilities, clarify shared operational ownership and advance platform self-service.

Requirements

• Academic degree or equivalent level of thinking in a technical field, such as computer science.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for a cloud, infrastructure or operations product.
• Solid understanding of IT service management, production operations, incident management and shared operational ownership.
• Experience with infrastructure or data platforms, including networking, IAM, storage, observability, security and architecture guardrails.
• Ability to translate technical details and business needs into clear product choices, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to lead a platform product and collaborate with engineers, architects, security specialists and operations teams.
• Reliable, communicative and decisive approach, combined with collaboration, pragmatism, proactive independent working and strong ownership.
• Ability to work in a high-impact, dynamic environment and challenge requests that conflict with platform principles.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Transaction Monitoring or Financial Economic Crime.
