Associate Software Engineer (C#/ASP.NET)

Location: Hybrid role requiring work at the Cottonwood Heights office in Salt Lake City, Utah, two days per week; US-based position.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and websites at an entry level.
• Participate in team projects, including planning, coding, delivery, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Apply software engineering standards and document technical designs, processes, and user guides.
• Provide system and application support, troubleshooting, and end-user or support-staff training.
• Partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver technology that improves operations and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Salesforce APEX, PHP, or T-SQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivation, curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
• Ability to perform sedentary office work involving computer use, repetitive typing, and limited lifting or walking.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, SQL, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, DOM, or AngularJS.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or VSTS.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
