Reinsurance Consultant (SAP FS-RI)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; on-site at a client location

What you will do

• Analyze requirements from underwriting, claims, accounting, and other reinsurance stakeholders and translate them into SAP FS-RI solutions.
• Design solutions and agree the configuration approach with business stakeholders.
• Configure core FS-RI components, including company codes, currencies, treaty management, coverage, shares, assumed and ceded reinsurance, bordereaux, accounting rules, losses, and reserves.
• Configure sub-ledger functionality and integrations with SAP FICO/GL, SAP FS-CD, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• Document functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and provide third-level support for complex incidents.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of proportional, non-proportional, and facultative reinsurance business processes.
• Expert SAP FS-RI configuration skills and experience as a Functional FS-RI Consultant.
• Minimum 3+ years of dedicated reinsurance business experience and minimum 3+ years of dedicated hands-on SAP FS-RI experience.
• Strong understanding of integration points with SAP FICO, FS-CD, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• Excellent business analysis, requirements gathering, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.

• Dutch or French language skills.
