Migration Data Quality Consultant (SAP ABAP)

What you will do

• Analyze legacy data and define migration scope, data objects, transformation rules, mappings, and reconciliation logic.
• Execute data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and high-volume loading for SAP Insurance migrations.
• Define and implement data quality rules, metrics, controls, dashboards, and reports.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, master data issues, and reconciliation exceptions between legacy and target SAP Insurance systems.
• Support data governance frameworks, master data ownership models, and collaboration with business data owners.
• Develop ABAP programs with error handling and logging for migration, validation, transformation, and reconciliation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data migration, including 3+ years in data migration and quality management.
• 3+ years of experience with a core SAP Insurance module, specifically SAP FS-PM or FS-CM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP master and transactional data objects and experience in large-scale or complex SAP landscapes.
• Strong ABAP and ABAP OO development skills for data manipulation, mass processing, migration, and data validation.
• Experience with ETL and migration tools such as msg.AIM, LSMW, or Data Services, including high-volume data loading techniques.
• Expertise in data mapping, transformation logic, data reconciliation, audit support, and reconciliation reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Meticulous attention to data quality, consistency, and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight timelines and cutover pressure.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
