Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, production-ready Generative AI solutions.
• Build AI-powered applications with Large Language Models, NLP, and modern GenAI technologies.
• Develop reusable GenAI components for multiple business domains.
• Own the AI development lifecycle from identifying business needs through production deployment and monitoring.
• Implement LLMOps and MLOps practices for reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to turn business challenges into practical AI solutions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong Python skills and the ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Solid understanding of NLP, Large Language Models, and Generative AI, preferably with hands-on experience building GenAI applications.
• Experience developing, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring AI/ML models in production environments.
• Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, DevOps, and cloud-based AI solutions, including Azure or similar platforms.
• Engineering experience with Git, CI/CD, API development and integration, containerization, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with relational and vector databases.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and work in cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring colleagues, or sharing engineering best practices.
• Currently living in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
