Cognite Academy Engineer (Industrial AI)

Location: USA (Phoenix); international and regional travel for training events is expected up to 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop technical subject-matter expertise in hirify.global Data Fusion and the broader hirify.global product portfolio.
• Identify customer, partner, and internal knowledge gaps and translate them into courses, learning paths, labs, and technical training.
• Create self-paced courses, instructor-led programs, demonstrations, exercises, assessments, workshops, bootcamps, documentation, and job aids.
• Develop digital learning assets using tools such as Synthesia and Articulate Rise, including video, animations, and interactive activities.
• Deliver virtual and in-person training from foundational CDF Fundamentals courses to advanced multi-day CDF Delivery Bootcamps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and subject-matter experts to improve implementation enablement and learning effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a technical role such as Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with data platforms, DataOps technologies, cloud platforms, or industrial data environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, data modeling, APIs, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience delivering technical training, workshops, bootcamps, demonstrations, or technical presentations to professional audiences.
• Experience creating technical learning content, documentation, tutorials, labs, or other educational materials; understanding of instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to audiences with different levels of expertise.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Data Fusion; experience with similar industrial data platforms or DataOps environments will also be considered.
• Experience with learning management systems and digital authoring tools.
• Familiarity with Skilljar, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Synthesia, or similar platforms.
