EPLAN Specialist

Location: Zaandam, Netherlands; full-time onsite role with a work-from-home arrangement available

hirify.global is an engineering and technology organization supported by TBI Holdings, with a Technology & Digitalization department managing design software and engineering applications.

What you will do

• Develop and manage EPLAN structures, macro libraries, design standards, master data, parts databases, project structures, and reports.
• Configure EPLAN P8, ProPanel, Preplanning, and eBuild, including connections with data platforms, ERP systems, and cable databases.
• Support, advise, train, and guide EPLAN users in efficient and uniform working methods.
• Develop guidelines, best practices, process improvements, and configuration-driven engineering workflows.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into new functionality or configuration adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across business units and assist with data connections and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor-level education in electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with EPLAN applications.
• Experienced user of EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN ProPanel; EPLAN eBuild experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop complex technical structures and configuration rules.
• Affinity with scripting, process optimization, and standardization.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide users through new working methods.
• Independent, proactive, and focused on quality improvement.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of engineering processes, data management, and configuration-driven design.
• Experience with macro development or automation within EPLAN.
• Experience with EPLAN eBuild.
