Cybersecurity Manager (CTU)

Location: Boadilla del Monte, Spain; hybrid work with some days remote and some days onsite at the Madrid office.

What you will do

• Oversee technical cybersecurity activities for approximately 14 Auto Mobility Finance entities across 16 countries.
• Manage the CTU unit in hirify.global Consumer Finance headquarters, the Western Hub, and Global Services.
• Coordinate cyber incident management and SOC escalations, including triage, containment, remediation, and follow-up.
• Monitor SIEM log ingestion, configure use cases, and manage their lifecycle.
• Support cyber infrastructure security and change management across firewalls, WAF, proxies, antimalware, certificates, and related controls.
• Manage attack surface inventories, ethical hacking planning, vulnerability remediation, cloud security posture, hardening compliance, secure development findings, and cyber intelligence monitoring.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of cybersecurity experience with progressive responsibility in security operations, incident response, and technical leadership.
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and coordinating stakeholders in complex, multi-country environments.
• Experience overseeing cybersecurity projects, service improvements, operational priorities, and work with internal teams and external providers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage incidents, escalations, and remediation from identification through resolution.
• Degree in a STEM-related discipline and relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Hands-on experience with Protect, Detect, and Respond capabilities, incident management, SOC escalation coordination, SIEM platforms, cyber infrastructure security, attack surface management, and security hardening and compliance.
• Team management, project management, communication across different organizational levels, documentation, presentation, organization, planning, and workload management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing security operations in large, distributed environments, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management.
• Experience managing secure development findings and security issues from application or code assessments.
• Experience monitoring cyber intelligence feeds and identifying emerging threats.
