Senior Incident Coordinator (Cybersecurity)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.

Base salary: EUR 60,000–100,000 per year for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, organize, and facilitate tabletop exercises and simulations to test incident response capabilities.
• Coordinate incident response resources, meetings, communication channels, and stakeholder communications.
• Create and maintain incident response documentation, playbooks, procedures, and reports covering timelines, actions, and impact.
• Collect, analyze, and report incident metrics; facilitate post-incident reviews and document lessons learned.
• Coordinate incident response training and track participation.
• Improve incident management processes and support incident management platforms and documentation repositories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in incident management, business continuity, or security operations.
• Demonstrated experience planning and facilitating tabletop exercises or simulations.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience creating reports, playbooks, or procedural documentation.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with incident management or ticketing systems.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting metrics.
• Project or program management experience or certifications.
• Facilitation or training certification or experience.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of security operations and incident response procedures.
