Senior Scientist, Chemistry (On-site)

Salary: $117,000–$184,200 per year, plus potential annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Develop and implement novel flow chemistry and continuous processing technologies for robust, sustainable, and efficient API manufacturing.
• Conduct laboratory experiments in flow chemistry and enable new chemical transformations and route designs.
• Collaborate with synthetic and analytical chemists and chemical engineers.
• Support API campaigns at laboratory, pilot, and manufacturing scales.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in flow chemistry and continuous processing within Process Chemistry.

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering, or a bachelor's degree in either field plus at least 4 years of pharmaceutical-industry experience.
• Working knowledge of flow chemistry and fluency in organic chemistry principles.
• Outstanding research record that can be shared during the interview process.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, written and oral communication, collaboration, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate innovation, creativity, and initiative.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with programming and laboratory automation.
• Experience in electrochemistry or photochemistry.
• Peer-reviewed publications and research presentations.
