Product Owner - NetSuite (FinTech)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; office-centric hybrid schedule with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, work from home generally available on Wednesday, and Friday depending on the role and partner teams.

Base salary: CAD 136,000–155,000 per year, with possible additional equity, sales incentive pay for applicable roles, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the direction, management, operational stability, configurations, feature requests, and issue resolution for the NetSuite ERP system.
• Collaborate with Finance to identify Agentic AI automation use cases that improve productivity.
• Partner with Internal Audit and Compliance on SOX compliance, including SoD analysis, ITGC, role design, and compliance reporting.
• Translate stakeholder business needs into technical requirements and lead NetSuite implementation projects from planning through delivery.
• Document and improve business processes, apply NetSuite best practices, and coordinate user training, workshops, and training materials.
• Manage project plans and resources, integrate NetSuite with finance and enterprise systems, and recommend improvements based on new NetSuite capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite experience as an administrator, including full-cycle implementation experience.
• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
• NetSuite certification such as Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or ERP Consultant.
• Strong understanding of business processes and accounting principles.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to use them for productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Nice to have

• BS/BA degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, CPA, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with SaaS applications such as Zuora, Coupa, and Anaplan.
• Working knowledge of surrounding finance applications such as Floqast, Lease Query, and Workiva.
