VP Commercial Management (Data Centers)

Location: USA; travel as needed to support regional projects.

What you will do

• Lead commercial management across the Design and Construction lifecycle, including contract drafting, negotiation, administration, and standardized templates.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to align contracts with company policies and legal requirements.
• Lead cost control from estimating and budgeting through monitoring and reporting, while protecting safety and quality.
• Establish risk management frameworks, maintain risk registers, and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for global projects.
• Build and lead a high-performing commercial management team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare executive reports on project financial performance, risks, and recommendations, using data analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Contracts and Cost Management within the construction industry.
• Proven Risk Management experience with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to support regional projects.

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
