Junior German Copywriter (Cybersecurity)

Location: Berlin, Germany; work from anywhere is offered.

Compensation: €32K–€42K annually.

What you will do

• Adapt and transcreate website content, app interfaces, PPC ads, and campaigns from English into German for the DACH market.
• Create blog posts from briefs and propose new content ideas.
• Proofread German content, monitor websites and apps, and provide quality feedback.
• Develop advertorials, newsletters, sales copy, and other materials for affiliates, influencers, and external partners.
• Support PR with press-release transcreations and turn complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages.
• Switch between writing styles and formats while tracking cybersecurity, technology, travel, innovation, and market trends.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of full-time German copywriting and/or German localization or translation experience, freelance or employed, with a portfolio or content links.
• Fluent English.
• Basic SEO knowledge; GEO knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in close collaboration with local and global teams, including SEO, Influencers, and Affiliates, and willingness to support local market development.
• Creative, proactive approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment where products may be created within weeks and projects completed within days.
• Readiness to contribute actively to local projects and develop within and beyond the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with translation tools such as Crowdin or project-management tools such as Jira.
• GEO knowledge.
