Financial Services Copywriter (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, 3–4 days in the office and 1–2 days from home, based in Melbourne, Australia; Toronto, Canada; or London, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Write and edit blog articles, brochures, website copy, emails, white papers, case studies, e-books, presentations, product collateral, and sales materials.
• Create scripts and supporting copy for videos, podcasts, webinars, trade show invitations, follow-up campaigns, and other events.
• Develop audience-specific product information and launch materials with product, marketing, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Support stablecoin content, including hirify.global’s offering, launch-market legislation, and thought-leadership opportunities.
• Research and explain financial markets, products, legislation, regulatory topics, data security, and other complex subjects.
• Review copy for clarity, factual accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on copywriting and editing experience, ideally in a B2B, financial services, or similarly regulated environment.
• Financial services experience and the ability to understand financial products, markets, legislation, and regulatory concepts quickly.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly, accurately, and appropriately for different audiences.
• Analytical, detail-focused approach and confidence researching subjects and communicating them precisely.
• Ability to produce polished drafts from briefs, switch between subjects and audiences, and manage multiple briefs and deadlines.
• Sound judgement when handling legal, compliance, or sensitive product information, including the willingness to clarify unclear requirements.
• Experience with website and product copy, plus the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders and deliver effective creative solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience writing structured or technical material such as product documentation, how-to content, technical manuals, policy-related content, or instructional material.
• Understanding of SEO.
