Internal Auditor

Location: Hybrid role in Paris, Île-de-France Region, France

Salary: from EUR 7,782.39 per month, plus allowances based on eligibility and exempt from French income tax.

What you will do

• Contribute to the Internal Audit Strategy, annual Work Plans, and periodic reporting.
• Plan, execute, and report on audits, reviews, and advisory activities covering governance, risk management, internal control, compliance, and performance.
• Manage external consultant support for assigned audit mandates and ensure compliance with internal audit methodology.
• Follow up with Management and auditees on implementation of recommendations and maintain fit-for-purpose IT tools and processes.
• Liaise with the External Auditor and contribute to internal audit quality assurance, improvement, professional development, and leading-edge methodologies.
• Present audit reports and recommendation follow-up results to the Audit Committee and draft meeting minutes.

Requirements

• University degree in business, finance, accounting, information technology, law, or a related field.
• Professional certification in accounting or auditing, such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, or ACCA.
• At least five years of relevant experience in auditing, financial analysis, accounting, or a closely related field, preferably in international organisations, multilateral financial institutions, or the private sector.
• Practical experience with governance, risks, and internal controls, including the ability to formulate assessments and recommendations in national or international settings.
• Practical experience managing external consultants and executing internal audit engagements with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of computer systems and their application to financial and administrative processes, including data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in one hirify.global official language, English or French, and excellent written and oral communication in the other.
• Ability to demonstrate the hirify.global core competencies: Vision and Strategy, Enable People, Ethics and Integrity, Collaboration and Horizontality, Achieve Results, and Innovate and Embrace Change.
• Applicants must be nationals of hirify.global member countries.

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence in an audit context.

• 24-month fixed-term appointment, renewable to a maximum of 36 months.
