Senior Accountant

Location: Based in Paris (75002), France; hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Maintain accounting operations in NetSuite for six international entities, including bank entries, reconciliations, vendor invoices, payment runs, expenses, payroll integration, and intra-group journals.
• Manage multi-currency and multi-entity accounting, treasury transactions, FX revaluations, and realized and unrealized foreign-exchange gains and losses.
• Maintain ledgers and cost-center assignments, validate postings, perform monthly controls, and track fixed assets across the general ledger and Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare monthly closing activities, French tax declarations, intra-group reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.
• Support group consolidation and annual statutory audits, with the consolidation scope adapted to experience and development interests.
• Lead or participate in finance transformation projects, process automation, and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, such as BTS, DCG, DSCG, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within an international group or fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data manipulation and reconciliations.
• Hands-on ERP experience, such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, including fixed asset modules, subledger management, custom reporting, CSV or Excel data imports, and multi-currency or multi-entity setups.
• Solid knowledge of French GAAP (PCG); familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS is a plus.
• No prior consolidation expertise is required; exposure will be tailored to the candidate’s skills and interest in developing consolidation expertise.
• Strong appetite for change, project-driven work, rigor, organization, and precise operational methods.
• Fluent French and professional written and spoken English are required for collaboration in a global environment.

• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
