Information Technology/Assurance (IT/IA) Specialist I (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Springfield, Ohio, United States. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required to start; must be able to attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Salary: $82,195–$111,205 annually.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
• Configure and maintain software controls, system interfaces, file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies; perform hardware and software upgrades, patching, account administration, and help desk support.
• Prepare and update authorization packages, coordinate Bodies of Evidence, conduct cybersecurity self-inspections, and notify customers of changes affecting accreditation.
• Identify vulnerabilities, implement countermeasures, and ensure systems and network appliances follow security policies for operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Administer VTC systems and support government-issued laptops, media accountability, external clients, and COMSEC equipment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience, including prior work as a system or network administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience totaling 4 years.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016, Windows 7/10 administration, and associated hardware.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, data backup technologies, COMSEC integration, Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and system security policies for assessments and authorizations.
• Current relevant experience with PL2 systems.
• IAT Level I or IAM Level I certification, such as A+ or Network+, required within 6 months of hire.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start; ability to attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
