Data Analyst V (AI)

Location: Remote, work from home in the United States

Salary: $132,149–$193,856.30 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-domain analytics solutions and semantic-layer views.
• Set technical direction for the analytics area and lead dashboard and analytics design reviews.
• Build and support natural-language query interfaces on the semantic layer for self-service analytics.
• Design and enforce data-validation and QA standards, including validation of AI-generated insights and narratives before stakeholder delivery.
• Partner with senior business and clinical stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into technical designs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts on requirements gathering, dashboard design, best practices, and safe AI-copilot use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9–12 years of experience in analytics, including significant project ownership.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience building and optimizing dashboards and analytic solutions.
• At least 1 year of informal experience mentoring analysts.
• Advanced SQL expertise, dashboard architecture expertise, and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to independently design complex, cross-domain analytic solutions and semantic-layer views.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering and AI-copilot capabilities, with the ability to independently design guardrails for validating AI-generated insights and narratives.
• Ability to occasionally present technical work to cross-functional groups of 5–10 people.

Nice to have

• Advanced Tableau or Power BI certification.
• Deep experience validating AI-generated insights in a regulated or clinical setting.
