DevOps Engineer (PHS)

What you will do

• Deliver, maintain, automate, and support the Proximity Hosting Solutions platform for Financial Markets applications and DevOps teams.
• Perform end-to-end operations, L2/L3 support, and CI/CD pipeline and platform automation.
• Maintain platform stability, performance, reliability, security, and monitoring across private-cloud and data-center infrastructure.
• Manage patching, vulnerabilities, security remediation, disaster recovery readiness, and ransomware resilience.
• Deliver storage and infrastructure migrations, NetScaler/Citrix upgrades, access-management outsourcing, and capacity and performance improvements.
• Integrate and tune Darktrace and support infrastructure, application, and security monitoring.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT support, operations, or DevOps roles.
• Strong delivery, change-management, organizational, client-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good understanding of systems administration, including Windows Server, Linux, Citrix, and SQL Server.
• Experience configuring and maintaining infrastructure in data-center environments, plus monitoring and observability systems.
• Understanding of storage management and backup/restore procedures.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security and compliance monitoring, privileged access management, and disaster-recovery processes.
• Experience working in a large, complex IT environment.
• Excellent English communication skills. Customer-focused, collaborative, service-oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Networking basics covering firewalls, routers, switches, and connectivity.
• Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• CI/CD tooling experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including pipelines, templates, and YAML.
• Basic Oracle database knowledge and exposure to Zabbix, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alertmanager, or Alloy.
• Knowledge of Citrix Studio and VMware virtualization environments.
